FF Scala Sans

FF Scala Sans is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed by Martin Majoor and released in 1993 through FontFont. The design feels very much like an Old Style serif without the serifs and has a strong calligraphic feel that is especially pronounced in the italics. FF Scala Sans is famously used to set the type in the typographer’s bible, The Elements of Typographic Style, combined with Minion.
