Chaparral is a hybrid serif/slab serif typeface designed by Carol Twombly and released in 2000 through Adobe. The design of Chaparral combines the slab serif designs of the nineteenth century with sixteenth century roman type. Chaparral has a huge set of weights and styles making it an extremely versatile font for use on the web.
