Minion is an Old Style serif typeface designed by Robert Slimbach and released in 1990 through Adobe. The design of Minion was inspired by classical typefaces of the late Renaissance. Robert Bringhurst’s typography-bible The Elements of Typographic Style uses Minion for its body copy. Minion is available in five weights—regular, medium, semibold, bold and black—each with matching italics.
