Arnhem is a Transitional serif typeface designed by Dutch designer Fred Smeijers in 2002. Created with editorial usage in mind, Arnhem excels in setting long passages of text. Erik Spiekermann has described Arnhem as a “legible serif with an edge.” I’ve started to notice Arnhem used more and more for news/magazine sites on the web which is a great use for this typeface.
