Brunel

Brunel is a serif typeface originally designed by Paul Barnes in 1995 with later input from Christian Schwartz in 2005. Barnes and Schwartz partnered to form Commercial Type in 2007, however, Brunel isn’t available for purchase through their foundry. Instead, it’s only available on a limited basis by contacting Christian Schwartz directly. Schwartz describes Brunel as “an anthology of the late eighteenth and nineteenth century English foundries.”
