Droid Serif is an open-source serif typeface designed by Steve Matteson for use in the Android platform. It was designed for comfortable reading on screens and its letterforms are slightly condensed to allow more text to fit on small devices. Droid Serif includes normal, italic, bold and bold italic styles which makes it an excellent font for setting body copy.
