Hawthorn is a serif typeface designed by Michael Daines in 1968. It has a fairly similar feel to Romana (which I use for the Typewolf logo and throughout the site) with its sharp, triangular serifs, however, the letterforms are slightly more condensed and it features a single-story “g.” Hawthorn is available in a single bold weight so it works best for headline usage.
