Mallory is a sans-serif typeface designed by Tobias Frere-Jones and released through Frere-Jones Type in 2015. It is the first typeface release of Frere-Jones after his split with longtime business partner Jonathan Hoefler. The design draws inspiration from both British and American typefaces—to me it feels like a cross between Gill Sans and Gotham. Mallory is available in eight weights with matching italics as well as a MicroPlus optical size, created specifically for use at small sizes and on low resolution screens.
