Original Sans is a sans-serif typeface designed by Paul Barnes and Christian Schwartz. It was released in 2020 through Commercial Classics, a branch of Commercial Type that focuses on historical revivals. The design was inspired by the very first sans-serifs created by Vincent Figgins between 1828 and 1832. The family is available in two variations, Original Sans Three (shown in the specimen) and Original Sans Four, which is heavier and more geometric.
