Respira Black is a blackletter typeface designed by Lucas Sharp with Wei Huang. It was published through Sharp Type on Earth Day in 2017, and all proceeds are donated to the environmental advocacy group Natural Resources Defense Council. The design was inspired by Spanish and English blackletter faces from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
