Spectral is a serif typeface designed by French foundry Production Type. It was commissioned by Google Fonts and released as open-source through their service in 2017. The design features heavy, triangular serifs and was created with longform reading on screens in mind. The Spectral family is available in seven weights with matching italics and small caps.
