Syne is a typeface family designed in 2017 by Lucas Descroix for the French art center Synesthésie. It was later released under the SIL Open Font License in 2018. The family is available in three weights that get progressively wider as they get heavier. There is also an italic version inspired by “trackpad-calligraphy” and a monospaced version with a distorted and degraded appearance.
