Today Sans is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed by Volker Küster in 1988 and published through Elsner+Flake. The italic takes on a flowing, calligraphic feel especially evident on the letters k and p. Today Sans is available in six weights—extralight, light, normal, medium, bold and ultrabold—each with matching italics and small caps styles.
