Warnock is a serif typeface designed by Robert Slimbach. The typeface is named after John Warnock, one of the co-founders of Adobe. John Warnock’s son, Chris Warnock, requested that Slimbach design the typeface as a tribute to his father in 1997. It was later released as a commercial font by Adobe in 2000 under the name Warnock Pro. The design features sharp, wedge-shaped serifs. The Pro version of Warnock is available in a complete set of optical sizes including text, caption, display and subhead versions.
