There are two different Old Style serif typefaces that both go by the name Italian Old Style. The first was designed by William Morris in 1911 and is featured here in the type specimen sample. A different Italian Old Style was designed in 1924 by Frederic Goudy. Although both typefaces drew inspiration from the same period, they actually look quite different.
